Privacy Policy
We do not sell or give away contact information gathered from this site to anyone.
Intellectual Properties Policy
Graphic images from the gkpub.com website may not be downloaded, copied or duplicated without the express written permission of Good Karma Publishing, Inc., which holds the copyright for said images.
Good Karma Publishing, Inc. holds the copyright and federally registered trademark for T'ai Chi Chih.
Licensing Policy
Good Karma Publishing, Inc. limits licensees for the publication and distribution of GKP literature in the U.S. and other countries around the world.
Reprint Policy
The reprint policy is different from the licensing policy. Teachers are permitted to quote a phrase or sentence excerpted from the gkpub.com web site without a prior, written request to do so — as long as it/they are accompanied by a credit line that reads: "Reprinted from the gkpub.com web site, with permission of Good Karma Publishing, Inc."
Teachers have permission to quote a phrase or sentence excerpted from a Good Karma Publishing, Inc. publication without a prior, written request to do so — as long as it/they are accompanied by a credit line that reads: "Reprinted from (name of publication, page number), with permission of Good Karma Publishing, Inc.)"
Non-T'ai Chi Chih teachers and entities may not reprint Good Karma Publishing, Inc. or gkpub.com web site copyrighted materials without prior approval granted pursuant to a written request.
Trademarks and Logos
Good Karma Publishing, Inc. and The Vital Force, Inc have registered trademarks and logos, and the guidelines for using them are based partly on legal considerations and partly on the nature of T’ai Chi Chih.
Use of these marks on goods or services that do not originate from Good Karma Publishing, Inc. and The Vital Force, Inc., and have not been approved by either entity, both infringes upon and dilutes T'ai Chi Chih's (and Good Karma Publishing, Inc. and The Vital Force’s) marks, in legal terms. The resulting harm is that the marks and T'ai Chi Chih itself, since T'ai Chi Chih is what the marks symbolize, will come to be associated with a variety of products and services that are not part of T'ai Chi Chih, and are not consistent with T'ai Chi Chih's purpose. This will cause the marks to lose their meaning and significance as symbols of T'ai Chi Chih.
Literature Translation Policy
A translation or transcription of copyrighted text constitutes a derivative work, and, as such, permission of the copyright owner is required prior to undertaking the translation.
